Ingredients: For Cake
Butter - 100 gm
Powdered Sugar - 185 gm
Vanilla Extract - 1 tablespoon
Eggs - 2
All Purpose Flour - 200 gm
Milk - 1/2 cup
Lemon zest - 2 tablespoon
Baking Powder - 1 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Ingredients: For Glaze (Topping)
Powdered sugar - 1 cup
Butter - 1/4 cup
Lemon Juice or Zest - 2 tsp
Steps:
Preheat
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 9x9 inch pan.
Mix wet ingredients
In a large bowl, combine butter, sugar, egg, lemon zest and vanilla extract.
Mix dry ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Mix dry and wet ingredients together
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix well with a spatulla without any lumps.
Pour into pan
Pour the Mix into the prepared pan and tap gently to remove any air bubbles.
Bake
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until firm.
Let it cool
Let the cake cool for 15 mins.
Genty spread the glaze on top of the cake and springle toppings as you wish.
